We are reading Modbus registers from a TCP slave without any problems.

We would like to use the modbus alarms to send as an SMS - the problem is that the alarm is sent each and every time the system polls the slave if the trigger value is seen.

Is it possible for the alarm to only send once after detection?

Obviously, for a remote alarming system we do not want to send an SMS every time the RUT scans and the alarm state has not changed.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

We might implement your suggestion in future (currently we cannot say how fast that might be). If this change is essential for you in your solution and you need it urgently, you can contact your Teltonika sales manager for possibility to implement these changes faster.

Hello,

Have you implemented this feature in the new firmware version (06.05.3)? Is useful for a remote alarm system...

Tanks.

Hello,

This functionality was only recently developed, it is not available in 06.05.3 FW version. You can download testing firmware with this functionality from here:

These changes should be present in next firmware release (06.06.x). If you will be testing this firmware, it would be great to know your feedback if everything is working as expected in your solution.
