I have established an IPsec connection between two RUT955s. This also works. But it doesn't work if the connection was interrupted for a while. For example by switching off the system for one day. If the routers are now failing to establish a connection, the system logs show that the PSK already exists.

I then have to enter a new PSK each time to reestablish the connection.
Is there another solution?

Hello,

have you enabled "Dead Peer Detection" option in both router's IPsec configuration?

If no, doing so should solve this issue and allow both routers to reestablish IPsec connection automatically.
