Hi,

I recently bought 8 versions of the RUT240, to support internet in my holliday homes.
I brought one set live already and is abroad, the other 7 are still here with me.
The one that is abroad and was working fine, is now off-line.
I tried to investigate what the problem is and hope my conclusion is not correct......
It seems a new router comes apparently with only one month of subscription to RMS, is this correct?
I hope not as the prices for licences that I have bumped into are really hectic.

Please advice how I can use RMS or any other way to acces my holiday routers remotely without an expensive subscription licence...

Kind regards,

Wilbert

wilbert,

for the RMS you do need licenses.

or you can use a VPN to connect to the routers and build your own dashboard.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your quick response!
I do not have very much experience with VPN.
Will I be able to control the RUT240 with VPN from a remote location?
(both on public and none public IP addresses?)

Kind regards,
Wilbert
