We use the RUT 955/050 for monitoring of Modbus devices. On some location you will have problems with the 3G and 4G connection. So usually we check this connection with the Auto reboot config and restart modem in case we do not have connection or if this does not help reboot the router.

The question is now if and how long the data of the Modbus Master are stored in case the https push of the Modbus Data Sender fails even there was a reboot in between. Or are the data lost in case of a reboot?

Regards

Karl

Hi,

When router can not send data to server, these data are stored to RAM memory, after reboot data will be lost.

How long it could save depends on RAM memory, process which are running in router, but 1000 -10000 records should fit.
