Good Day,

I would like to post data, that I read from RS232 interface (with a custom codec?), post a counter value that gets incremented on an input, and then control relays from our server. Is this possible without having to create new firmware? What development route do you suggest I follow and are there some examples?

Regards

Check these instructions - https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/FMB125_RS-232_and_RS-485. Looks like you need to set TCP ASCII/Binary mode and then you can send/receive messages via Codec 12, https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/Codec_12. Also there exists instruction on manual testing - https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/FM63_Testing_RS-232_and_RS-485_TCP_Link_Mode.

Thanks a million for the reply, most definitely helpful. How will I go about counting the input change on a variable? I'm struggling to find clarity in the Wiki guides.

Oh, I missed that your question relates to RUT955. Sorry, but in this case IDK how such data exchange should work. Links above provide information about vehicle tracking devices, so most likely it will not suit RUT955.
