I got to keep my faulty device and also get a new from the reseller. Do you think there is any possibility for me to fix the issue with the old somehow?

You could check the soldering of the power socket as I assume this should be the case here.

So the new unit I got has the exact same problem. Is this a problem with all RUT240?

There are hundreds of thousands RUT240's deployed worldwide so this can't be case.

1. Did you used new PSU or the first one ?

2. Can you tell me the serial numbers of both devices via private message ?

1. I did test with both PSU on both devices, both have the same issue.

maybe the pins too small for the plug?

I had the same problem with RUTX11 (batch 0006). Instead of having the struggle of sending the entire device back to the supplier (what was of course suggested) and in the worst case having another device with the same problem, I ordered a new power supply and problem solved.

Can I ask what power supply you bought? I'm not sure what to get.
