Hello,

I have problem with SIM card. SIM card can register to mobile operator on smartphone but cannot register on same mobile operator on router RU955.

In dashboard for Mobile stands:

Data connection Disconnected

State Unregistered

SIM card slot in use SIM 1 (not inserted)

I have trouble with old SIM card so I ask mobile operator for new SIM which supports LTE. With old SIM card I could do registration on mobile operator but cannot have data connection.

In mobile information router sees SIM card IMEI, but state is SIM card not inserted.

Firmware is the latest one: 06.04.5

Can you please help me with this?

I have 15 routers that I need to configure for my client and on all of them I have same problem.

Hello,

Does this issuer persist with only 1 RUT955 or with multiple routers?

Have you try rebooting router after inserting SIM card to RUT955 SIM slot?

Also, double check if APN is set correct for SIM card.

This issue persist on all routers RUT955.

Yes I have tried rebooting router after inserting SIM and wait for 15 minutes after reboot to try register on network.

I have also double checked APN.

Can you please PM me a troubleshoot file of one of the devices? Also have you try using different operators SIM card?

Hi,

I've tried with only one SIM card and it is working.

When I insert two SIM cards one from one ISP and other from different ISP, none are working.

When I insert two SIM cards from same ISP, it is working until I test SIM card switching (no network) then both of them tells SIM card not inserted. (I plugg primary SIM out).

Yes I can send troubleshoot file on PM sorry for late response I was testing on all routers.

Hi,

After a month, troubleshooting with ISP situation is next.

When is one SIM card inside RUT, it's working.

When is two SIM card from same ISP, it's working.

When is two SIM card from different ISP (but ISP from same country), it's working.
When is two SIM card from different ISP (ISP from different country), neither one card is working.

I also try to enable roaming on both SIM cards and enable SIM card switching when is on roaming. It is not working.
IOS is latest 6.5.3 Same situation on all routers.

NOTE: One ISP is from EU and other one is not from EU.
