Got a RUTX11 with latest firmware RUTX_R_00.02.00.2 with ssh enabled

Using Putty as ssh client works fine for a while until the shell freze usually while doing a  cat or ls in /etc/config

I have no problem starting a new session and continue working, but it is annoying to have to login again and again

Best regards,

ssh access is through mobile connection (wan SIM1)

using ssh via mobile wan from different machine -> same problem

using ssh via RUTX11 LAN -> no problem

After tests:

WHAT WORKS WITHOUT FREEZE:

  1. SSH from any internet host to port forwarded machine behind RUTX11 (including SSH from that machine to RUTX11)
  2. SSH from physical LAN1-3 or wifi to RUTX11

WHAT FREEZE SSH:

  1. Any SSH from any internet host directly to RUTX11

login time seems irelevant, amount of output does.

Hi,

So this happens only when you cat or ls something or is it happening periodically?

It could be due to PuTTY as it is known to crash a lot.

It never ever crashed like this before.

It is stable for extended periods at other sites.

Can be a rut buffer matter.

It frezees on ifconfig every time

Also on cat /etc/config/network

Thank you for the additional info. I'll try running some tests and provide a response on this thread.
