Sorry for the rookie question. I'm using a RUT950 as a simple WiFi router in an RV. If I connect a Roku to the WiFi it doesn't take long for my data (T-Mobile) to get throttled from around 100MB down to 10MB or less (no surprise here). Any way to configure the OpenVPN to get around the throttling issue? Other suggestions to address this? I'm not an IT guy... but know just enough to be dangerous (mostly to myself). Thanks

Hello,

Even when using VPN traffic goes through the operator, so I think they will be able to calculate data passing through regardless.

But you can test it by creating a VPN server, connecting to it and see if operator throttles you if certain data usage is reached.

You can check this guide on how to configure RUT950 as OpenVPN client.

That that was my suspicion, thank you.
