Hi

I have a modem RUT230.

I created correctly a rule to port forwording to my network device 192.168.1.2 with TCP+UDP protocol, port 80

Now i would like to create a rule to port forwording to my network device 192.168.1.2 with FTP protocol, port 21.

Is possibile?

Thanks

Hi,

You do it the same way as you did with port 80. At the bottom of the picture you uploaded:
New rule's name: FTP
External port: 21
Internal IP: 192.168.1.2
Internal port: 21

Then hit 'Add' and 'Save' buttons.

Kind regards,

pelgrimo

This is the correct answer but I would add that FTP runs on TCP. Because I think the confusion was based around the fact that there's no FTP protocol selection.

Then select TCP or TCP+UDP. Both will work for FTP.
