Hello Andrew,

Currently there’s no ETA for USSD support on RUTX series devices.

What’s the general use case in which USSD quick codes would be used, could you describe it in detail? This information would help to raise the priority for this function implementation into RUTX firmware.

Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) is service offered by network providers to get information about subscriber account and menu-based information services etc. from the device to request for specific service on the network.

In many countries prepaid SIM cards are the only way to use in a 4G router. A device that provides 2 SIM cards without a feature to verify the status or renewal of the internet bundle from the provider is quite difficult to manage.  Competitors like huawei have this USSD feature as a standard in their 4G routers.

In case the USSD feature will not be developed please provide a workaround with a script or CLI commands that works on the RTUX series.

Having a USSD feature is a must to use the RTUX Series in real environment.
