I'm trying to understand if I can add an USB modem (USB Internet Key) on a RUT 9xx to have a 3rd operator to be used if both sim card fails (or more commonly if both ends their data bundle).

I found a simple information here: https://wiki.teltonika.lt/view/USB_Tools that simply says " Supported USB modems -> RUT955 also supports the following USB modems: Huawei MS2131i-8"

I was not able to find detail about how I can use the usb modem, what usage is possible, etc.

Also, is there any other key that can be used? May be 4G internet key?

Can some one help me?

Hello,

After inserting USB modem you will see that the new interface appears in Network --> WAN section.

Select it as Main or Failover WAN and you will have internet access. 

Huawei MS2131i-8 is the module that is tested, but other USB modems should be working as well, if you will have any issues please let us know.
