Hello! I've got next problem.

Device: Teltonika TRB140.

Firmware: TRB1400_R_00.01.06.1.

Problem: Periodic device self-rebooting with message "Reboot: Request from UART". There are no connected devices to the Teltonika via UART slot on board.

Question: How to disable ability of device rebooting through UART or fix this issue in other way?

Thanks.

Hello, Anton,

1. Could you PM me the serial number of your device ?

2. Is this the only TRB140 that has this issue or there is more devices like this ?

I can confirm now that this is the HW issue with this particular unit. you should send this device for replacement by following RMA procedure. When filling RMA in comment section please provide crowd support link as well so that the engineer who will get this case could know that this unit is already approved.

Sorry for troubles and thank you

You should also contact your reseller and replace this device.

I have one more here, TRB140 also. Is it really a hardware problem or is there something else that could be done? Not really interested in RMAing the device, but guess we have to do that then.. Would have other things to do than fight with the badly working configuration restore etc. :P

I have the same issue. It happens only with firmware 1.06. The older ones (<1.02) did not have this reboot-issue.

This must be a software problem. Are there any bugfixes for this?
