Question

Hi All,

Have I missed something in the RUT955 GUI ? or is there no "%GeofenceName"
variable for event reporting via SMS or doing seriously cool things upon entering 
/ exiting a specific %GeofenceName boundary ? obviously there are multiple geofences, each with their
own name but no way to parse / use them as a variable?

The kind of things I have in mind? _{Where [ ] represents a drop down menu item}

Event [enter]
GeofenceName = [London ULEZ]
Action [SendSMS] 
to [DriverMSISDN] 
text  "*WARNING** APPROACHING %GeofenceName YOUR VEHICLE IS NOT PERMITTED TO ENTER! ALTERNATIVE ROUTE NEEDED NOW"

or perhaps:

Event [enter]
GeofenceName = [driveway]
Action [SendSMS] 
to [ROUTER_MSISDN]
Text  "123456789 PROFILE driveway"

Event [exit]
GeofenceName = [driveway]
Action [SendSMS] 
to [ROUTER_MSISDN] 

text "123456789 PROFILE mobile"

If I havent missed it - its one heck of an omission! -  and can I please submit it as a 
future feature request ?

It would really bring the tracking capability to life!

Hello,

There is currently no way to send SMS by the selected variable. The router sends an SMS when any enabled variable leaves or enters a geofence.
If you need this functionality, I recommend contacting your sales manager.
