Hi!

I have the RUT955 Router on our sailing boat going round the world.

The bad thing about it is that we have a RUT955H***** which will not work with LTE networks in the caribbean for example.

The question: Is it possible to flash it to be a global version? (RUT955V*****)

Or is the hardware really different?

Hello,

LTE supported bands depend on LTE module itself, thus you won't be able reflash it to make a global version.

Here you can find all the versions with supported bands.

It is factory soldered so not really possible.
