Question

On TRB142 software flow control (Xoff/Xon) doesnt seem to be working, only hardware (RTS/CTS). Datasheet for Quectel EC21 states that posible flow control options are NONE or RTS/CTS, and doesnt mention suport for software flow control, while TRB142 manual states software flow control is posible. Which one is true?

Our TRB142 is working as a client over IP, when set up on 2G network with lower signal quality, roughly 50k out of 100k sent data is lost due to buffer overflow.

Can you PM me a troubleshoot file of the TRB142 when issue persist? (System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot)

Yes we are using firmware version TRB1420_R_00.01.06.1., we have checked that settings are good, and we observed with oscilloscope that no character is sent out of module during transmission that lost half of its packets.

RnD have tested Xon/Xoff control and it seems that it is working. Regarding this:

How you identified that and about what "buffer" you are talking about?
