I am trying to connect the RUT230 to a OpenVPN Server.
I believe all the settings are correct:

however, I cannot get the service to start:


Is there something I am doing wrong here.

Hi Chris,

Which FW version you’re running, WebUI → Status → Services page might’ve been cached or old FW version might have a visual bug, I’d suggest to upgrade your device's FW to the newest version which can be downloaded from here.

Most reliable way to check if service is started and connection is established is to connect to router via Services -> CLI or SSH and type "ifconfig" and "route -n" commands. If after using ifconfig command there's interface called tun_c_NameConfiguredForInterface and after using route -n command there are routes for interface tun_c_NameConfiguredForInterface then it means that connection is established and all your VPN traffic is being routed.
