Clock speed of i2c on TRB140 gateway

Anyone know how to change the i2c speed of of the TRB140 switch. The default i2c speed is too fast for the sensor board that is connected.

Unfortunately, but only way to change I2C bus speed is to recompile linux kernel.

Is it possible to get the guidelines for recompiling the kernel?

The TRB140 would be perfect for some of our protoprojects, but it would require to access i2c on lower bus speed.

Hello,

Currently TRB140 SDK does not contain kernel source files. Only from SDK of firmware version TRB14x_R_00.02.xx, these sources will be available and then you will be able to compile your firmware with different I2C bus speed.

In SDK look for file linux/arch/arm/boot/dts/qcom/mdm9607.dtsi file and update i2c_2 bus speed.
