Hi, is there a way to router all traffic from a specific vlan on the RUTX11 via vpn tunnel (openvpn) and traffic from another vlan via the wan?

eg
VLAN 100 (LAN1) > OPENVPN TUNNEL
VLAN 101 (LAN 2) > WAN

Hello Sir,

For OpenVPN it is complicated, if it is in TUN mode. OpenVPN works with OSI layer3, VLAN - OSI layer2. Instead of OpenVPN, I recommend use PPTP and VLAN. I can’t provide step by step example how to manage this. But I like to share some short guides for VPN PPTP with VLAN:

  • Create new PPTP (client or server) (WebUI-> Services->VPN->PPTP):

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_VPN#PPTP_client

  • Create new VLAN’s (WebUI -> Network -> VLAN):

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_VLAN

  • Create new LAN’s. Assign them to VLAN sub-interfaces (WebUI -> Network -> LAN):

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_LAN

  • Edit firewall (WebUI-> Network -> Firewall -> General settings)

Add LAN1 and LAN2 to “Covered network” tab of ZONE “LAN=>WAN”

And create new Zones for “LAN1=>pptp”, “LAN2=>wan”:

I hope this guide takes you to the answer.

Regards,
