I'd like to connect the RUTx11 to a mini UPS, through PoE, to keep the RUTx11 working in case of power cuts.

Would this one work?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Uninterruptible-100V-240V-8800mAH-Portable-Wireless-UPS-POE-UK/dp/B07JC7CJFG

I has a 15V or 24V PoE output.

I noticed that the RUTx11 is described as not compatible with IEEE802.3af and 802.3at standards.

Thanks.

You need to check if the device you show is  IEEE 802.3af-2003 standard or not. Powering options of RUTX11 could be find here

From the description of the RUTx11 it is clear that it is not compatible with the IEEE 802.3af.

This is because the RUTx11 has passive PoE, meaning it has to be provided with the proper voltage.

This the question: what is the proper voltage that must be provided by the PoE adapter?

Hello.

Yes, our device do not support IEEE802.3af and 802.3at but support passive PoE.

Link below will provide you all detail information about our passive PoE solution.
https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX11_Powering_Options#Passive_PoE

However, some manufacturers solutions of 802.3af and 802.3at do not required PoE handshake and VDC can be selected manually.
In this scenario you can power up RUT device using 802.3af/at

Resume: If your PoE power solution meets repayments – it will work

Best regards

Thanks a lot for your answer.

A question to be sure not to damage the RUTx11 device: what is the voltage value to be manually selected from the PoE powering device?

Also, what is the PoE cable LAYOUT of the cable for the PoE?  568-A wiring or 568-B wiring?

Many thanks,
