Buongiorno,

Good morning,

I would like to know how to correctly set up the router to communicate with port 502 of a Modbus TCP device, I would like to have access as if I was connected with the cable using the NO-IP service.

Using the NO-IP DDNS I can already program the device and see its web server but I can't make it talk to the PC with Movicon 11.6

Hello,

I think if you want to reach the device connected to the router you can reach it via port-forwarding.
You can do it on the Network > Firewall > Port-Forwarding

If the said solution mentioned above doesn't work may i know more details on what are you doing??

1. What type of Modbus are you using is it Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP/IP?
2. In movicon software do you know the exact ports that is requiring or wants to access when reaching the device?
3. What type of IP Address are you using Public Dynamic, Public Static or Private APN Sim cards?

Hope it helps

Regards,

Jerome
