After ZeroTier connection, ModBus TCP Slave daemon stops, port 502 is refusing connections. The issue is present on any firmware with package manager and ZeroTier package installed and connected.

Also the same issue is present on RUT240

Is a known issue?

Hello.

It could be for some reasons, one of them is that you selected the Zerotier as default Gateway, this could lead to some IP conflicts.

Does this happen as soon as you install the Zerotier package or after you make the Zerotier configuration?

ZeroTier it is not configured as default gateway, is configured as client, I instantiate Zero interface and forward some ports behind the firewall. Modbus stops when ZeroTier is connected.

Hello.

I've tried to reproduce a similar scenario and I couldn't see any problem. I will need that you can send a troubleshoot file that can be downloaded here.

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Administration#Troubleshoot

A backup file that can be downloaded here:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Administration#Backup

And a detailed diagram of the configuration you are implementing.

I'm using Node-Red to read modbus registers from Teltonika routers, more info here:
https://discourse.nodered.org/t/modbus-tcp-read-32-bit-registers/1710

The thing is I can read ModBus registers from two Schneider Electric devices in the same setup, but I don't know why the router is refusing communication on ModBus. The firmwares before ZeroTier package had no problem.
