Hello,

Our company has multiple Teltonikas implemented in remote areas. Some of them are connected to the Internet using a wired connection (using a local infrastructure) but they have a 3G SIM card as backup (WAN Failover) in case the wired connection goes offline, they are all configured to do so.

However, my question is: if the wired connection for some reason looses Internet connection, the router will automatically switch to the 3G SIM Card, but, does it switch back to the wired connection when the wired connection comes online again?

Thank You,
- Rafael Couto

Hi Rafael,

Yes, once Main WAN connection is operational again it will switch back to it automatically.
