Hi,

I am trying to figure out if there is any way to update the firmware and configuration on routers such as the RUT955 and RUT240. Currently if I need to upload a custom configuration file onto a router I need to plug in each router to my computer and update the firmware and configuration individually. When you have to update the config on 50+ routers this becomes very time consuming. Is there a different method to upload a config file onto many routers at once that doesn't require you to plug them in one by one to comeplete.

Kind Regards

Spencer

Hello,

The solution to your problem is using RMS. For more information about RMS kindly visit this link:https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RMS.Just additional information each device that comes out of the box has a 30 day free RMS credit so you can link it to your RMS account for free for the next 30 days after that 30 days you need to purchase RMS credit.

Hope it helps

Jerome,

I use RMS on about 70 devices and have the same question as Spencer.  What is the process for auto firmware update?  I don't find this info in the RMS manual.  Regards,  Jim

Hello,

Regarding the feature of auto firmware update it is not yet available with our RMS system as of the moment but hopefully it will be applied in the future. As of now you can do bulk firmware updates on RMS manually. You can refer to this link for more information: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RMS_-_Actions_menu#Update_firmware

Hope it helps
