Question

Hey guys,

Trying to configure new RUT955.

Sim is connected, signal is good, double checked the sim in phon and huawei router, yet no internet connection.
Browser says - connection reset - check firewall.
When disabling firewall - browser is stuck on "resolving host" until timeout.

Please help.

Good day,

I would like to ask you te check the RUT955 Web UI if the sim card is successfully connected to the internet. You can access the Web UI from http://192.168.1.1 and it would be good if you are able to share a screenshot of your Web UI Overview. Check the status on the Mobile information if it is connected to the network. 

If it doesn't work try updating the firmware to the latest one that can be found on this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firmware_Downloads I recommend not to keep all the settings you configured in updating the firmware. If you don't know how to update the firmware. You can do it on System > Firmware you can check this link also for more information: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firmware.

Reinstalled firmware manually, did not preserve the settings. 

Still no internet

Hello,

I think the main issue is on the APN side. Could you go to Network > Mobile > Uncheck Auto APN then select your APN.

This will solve your issue.
