Hello!

I have configured a RUT955 to connect to a VPN Server in an office network. IP adresses in the office network are 192.168.0.x. Topology see screenshot:

1. Question: I can now reach PC W530 from the office network, but it does not work the other way round. In would need to access the remote PC (which will be later replaced by another device). What is necessary, that the network 192.168.1.x is reachable from the office network 192.168.0.x?

2. Question: Is it possible to use also for PC W530 IP adresses in the range 192.168.0.x?

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have a PPTP VPN Server! So the answer with OpenVPN does not apply!

Hello,

In this link, you can find several ways to configure it to access devices behind your server from your computer:

The answer to your next question: To use IP addresses on the same subnet, your server must be configured as OpenVPN TAP (bridged).
