I need to connect PLC with port RS232  (Modbus Ascii, port 502) for programing via ethernet. What settings has to be done on RUT955 with 3G, RS232/RS485 section. Is it neccessary to set port forward rule for port 502?

Then all you have to do is configure RS232 to work in OverIP mode. More information:

Hello,

Firewall rules do not need to be created to open port 502. I share a link that provides an example topology by which I think you can configure the device:

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

It is clear for TCP Modbus slave.

In my case device port is RS232 and it need transsmition to both directions (load program to PLC and get monitoring from PLC).

Looking forward for your comments.
