HI There,

Im using a RUT950 to send text messages via  SMS Post/Get which works fine but none of the messages are held or can be veiw when you run the below command.

http://IPADDRESS/cgi-bin/sms_list?username=admin&password=password

The below text was sent directly via the browser not via the above command.

Hi,

When POST/GET function is enabled (Services -> SMS Gateway -> Post/Get menu), it provides you with the possibility to perform SMS related action requests by writing them in the URL field of your web browser.

If you write URL: http://IPaddress/cgi-bin/sms_list?username=user1&password=user_pass

Note: <user1> - SMS post/get configuration user name; <user_pass> - SMS post/get configuration password

  • Do you see message list output on your browser?
  • Please, explain in more details, in what software do you use this command?
  • Is this software compatible to send HTTP post/get strings to router?
  • What output or error do you get then?

It is always recommended to check is your device is running latest firmware. You can download it here.

I look forward to clarifications from you.

Regards.

String http://IPaddress/cgi-bin/sms_list?username=user1&password=user_pass provides all SMS messages in storage, this means only received SMS.

It is not possible to get output of send SMS messages.
