Hello,

I monitor routers via SNMP and noticed that "connection uptime" is not working for routers with FV 6.05.3+
We have proper data for 6.05.1

For software 6.06.1 - not working:
Error>  ReceivedToday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.10.0
Error>  SentToday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.11.0
Error>  ReceivedYesterday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.12.0
Error>  SentYesterday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.13.0

Error>  Sent .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.19.0
Error>  Received .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.20.0

And ConnectionUptime: return 0 (since 6.05.3)
For (SNMP returned info)

RouterName :  RUT955
ProductCode :  RUT955H7V020

but works fine for:

RouterName :  RUT955
ProductCode :  RUT955H7VXXX

I've made a test for 6.04.5 - everything works properly.

Hello Grzegorz,

Thank you for your inquiry in Teltonika forum and bringing this to our attention. Try to use SNMP v2 or v3. For me it provides all outputs:

Best regards.

Also, after upgrade I recommend you download and renew MIB file from RUT (menu Services -> SNMP).

Hello,

The example I've implemented was from powershell (with ole.Prn.OleSNMP - which seems to be snmp v1).
But all of the routers I monitor with Zabbix with SNMPv2 agent.

I use template that let me monitor all devices with the same code.

There is no problem with In/Out data but still have strange readings from "Connection uptime".
For a few routers connection uptime is 0 (the code is same as for the rest so there is no spellcheck error).

I have router with:
> 2x RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1 - connection utime 0
> 4x RUT9XX_R_00.06.05.3 - connection uptime 0
> over 40+ with proper value RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1
> many proper value for RUT9XX_R_6.04.5, RUT9XX_R_00.06.05.1, RUT9XX_R_00.06.5.3

I've check each of "Connection uptime 0" case and there are proper values on the router from the 3 days up to 67 days.

Please let me know if you any specific data about that routers.

Hi,

What type of WAN connection (mobile, wired,…) uses those routers?

It would be great if you could send me troubleshoot file (menu System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot) from a device with the latest firmware installed. Replicate the issue and only then download it. Send it to me via private message.

Each of these routers use mobile connection.
Made a test for router with 00.06.06.1.

[SNMP] connection uptime 2020-04-29 11:09:21 0

Thank you for pointing out this issue, I was able to reproduce it. I will inform our RND department.

Hello,

i've updated router RUT230 to RUT2XX_R_00.01.13.1 and lost some data from SNMP.
I have errors at:

>>>>>>>> Error>  ReceivedToday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.10.0
>>>>>>>> Error>  SentToday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.11.0
>>>>>>>> Error>  ReceivedYesterday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.12.0
>>>>>>>> Error>  SentYesterday .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.13.0
>>>>>>>> Error>  Sent .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.19.0
>>>>>>>> Error>  Received .1.3.6.1.4.1.48690.2.20.0

and connection time is equal 0 non-stop:
ConnectionUptime :  0

Best regards,

Hello,

I was unable to replicate this issue. All GSM values were successfully read via SNMP v2.

Please check the MIB file, if necessary update it and check the OID values.

If the issue still appears, please elaborate more on how you are testing SNMP, what version it is? Was it OK before, what FW version was used before?

Respectfully,

Sarunas.
