hello

I don't know much about routers n that so this could be a simple fix idk. where I live we don't have a landline connection so our house's internet connection is through the sim card. yesterday we set up our modem, a rut955, and have since had baffling issues with the connection. I've run speed tests and we get pretty good speeds for where we live but for some reason, it takes ages for web pages to load and there's a pretty big response time making a lot of tasks very annoying to use.

once again I don't know much about routers so there might be a simple fix to it if you guys have any suggestions or know how to fix it then be sure to tell me. :)

Hello,

Based on what you shared with us your speedtest result was good and everything seems to be fine. May i know what device are you connected with? Like what are you using in surfing? Have you tested other smart phones or laptop connected to RUT955 in browsing?? Maybe it is on the end device side where the issue is coming from. May i also know if you are using the latest firmware for this RUT955 that you have. Kindly provide me this details so that i can assist you further more :)

The latest firmware that we have no is uploaded on this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firmware_Downloads

If your using an old firmware i recommend you to upgrade the firmware of the RUT device to the latest one if the issue still persist feel free to reply to this thread.

Thank you and have a nice day!

hello

the issues have been universal on all the devices connected, I've been having issues on my desktop, laptop, MacBook, and iPhone. from what I've concluded this seems to be a problem with the router.

I do not know if I am running old firmware so there is a chance I am.

thanks for the help :)

Hello,

You can actually check what firmware are you using by logging in on the Web UI via web browser since you haven't changed any settings on the RUT device the default link is: http://192.168.1.1 and the login credentials would be this:

username: admin
password: admin01

On the first log in you will be prompted with the basic configuration once you are done configuring everything it will redirect you to the overview page where you will be able to see the firmware version on the upper right side below the navigation panel of the RUT device.

If you are not able to locate it you can check it in the System > Fimware Tab of the device.
You can refer to this link for more information: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firmware

For the latest firmware for the RUT955 device you can check it here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firmware_Downloads

Hope it helps
