Current firmware (RUT9XX_R_00.03.344) on my RUT950 is quite old. There's been like 50 firmware release since then. The latest being RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1. Is it safe to jump all those releases or is it advised to do a step upgrade? If so, how many versions can I skip in step installation?

Here is the detail of my unit -  RUT950:

Firmware version RUT9XX_R_00.03.344

Firmware build date 2017-05-22, 15:33:27

Kernel version 3.10.36

Bootloader version 2.0.0

Hello,

you can upgrade to the latest firmware version. On the firmware tab, be sure to uncheck "Keep all settings" as many additional features have been added, so the router's memory must be completely cleared.
