Hello,

I have a strange behavior on my RUT240

I can write register 203 to switch Wifi On/Off with FC06 - Lenght 1 register - Value = 1 or 0

If I check on the WebUI, I see Wifi connection switching On/Off

With the same philosophy,

I can't write register 206 to reboot my router with FC06 - Lenght 1 register - Value = 1.

My Modbus master indicates "Not processed or TargetResourcceMissing" as Error.

Is there a parameter to activate to allow reboot by Modbus?

I have only 2 devices on my network : A PLC (M262 from Schneider) and my RUT240.

After some tests, I don't know why but now it works ... I can reboot my router with the same request.

Maybe I have made some mistakes on buffer management on PLC side.

Improvements needed : It will be better if Set registers (Command Wifi On / Off and Mobile connection On / Off) could be read to have a clear status.

And Reboot command = 0 have to be accepted (without consequences) when we need to make a full register refreshing

Hello!

At the moment, Modbus technology works in accordance with standards and certification.

Specify in more detail what gaps arise in the process of work?

In Modbus, we have FC23 that allows to Write/Read register. It is useful to write On / Off and check if command is well executed (in case of Wifi for example). But FC23 is not mandatory in my mind to be able to read (FC3) a register and Write (FC6 or FC16) the same register.

If it's difficult to implement, we just need another register to check if Wifi is Enabled or not and another for Mobile data connection (Enabled or not)

Hello!

At the moment, the number of Modbus parameters is limited by this list:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Monitoring_via_Modbus#Setting_router_values

Perhaps other parameters will be added to the new firmware for the change log which you can follow here:

Best regards, Aliaksandr!
