Hi.

The first step would be to Factory reset your device.

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Device_Recovery_Options#Reset_Button

Second. Update your devices Firmware

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Firmware_Downloads

Next. delete the device from RMS and add it again.

If the problem continues, the please send us a troubleshoot file

Hi,

same problem here with RUT955 and latest firmware RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1. I followed the steps above without success. Are there any other open TCP ports needed then 443 & 15009?

Where should I send the troubleshoot file to?

Regards,
Stefan

Hello, for RUT240, there is a new version with some improvements regarding RMS connection. As for RUT955, we are checking the troubleshot files sent.

I though this procedure worked for me with a RUT950 having the same SSL error, but in fact the root cause (for me) was that under RMS Settings I had thought I needed to change the Hostname to the device's hostname - changing this parameter was a mistake. The Hostname needs to be left at its default value of "rms.teltonika.lt".

Me too! suddenly, since yesterday, no more connection to rms with rut 955. Resetted the device, deleted from rms and added again. FW is up to date!

Failure (Error: SSL failure.)
