Good day

We use their product Teltonica Rout240 in various locations in Switzerland. We are basically satisfied, but in individual cases we have recently noticed that individual routers are charging the sim card with additional costs.

With one router, a premium SMS is sent every 5min, which costs $10. This will cost us a lot over the month. But we have no idea how something like this is even possible?

Do you know the problem or can you help us with the reason for this?

Hi,  

RUT240 shouldn't be sending any SMS'es to any numbers with default configuration.

Could you PM me with troubleshoot and backup packages of your RUT240 so I could review logs and configuration to determine why this could be happening.

Troubleshoot and backup can be found in WebUI -> System -> Administration -> Troubleshoot and WebUI -> System -> Administration -> Backup respectively.

Before downloading the backup, change your RUT240 password to something generic e.g. "Teltonika1" in WebUI -> System -> Administration -> General
