I have RUT240 with FW R_00.01.12.1

I cannot find a setting how to set PDPTYPE to IPV4V6.

My SIM card (Elisa Finland) supports IPV4 and IPV6 and IPV6 works in Huawei router.

Please advice.

Thanks!

Yes but no pdptype setting there.

Yes, where is no pdp parameter, but you can check IPv6 DHCP Client option and you will have IPv6 connectivity from ISP side

I will only get ipv6 from isp if I can set pdptype to ipv4v6. I repeat, how can i do that?

Hi,

Not quite understand situation, can you explain in more detail? how Huawei router is coming to the picture?

by
In Huawei it is possible to set the PDP type to IPV4V6, so I get the IPV6 from ISP.

In RUT240 I cannot set the PDPTYPE.

In "WebUI -> Network-> WAN -> Mobile interface" and press edit.
In this "TAB" you will be able to conf. IPv6

After reading only a bit about uci I logged in via ssh an set the pdp type:

uci set network.ppp.pdptype='ipv4v6'
uci commit
/etc/init.d/network restart

I got an IPv6 address but the configuration was owerwritten at the next boot. Next I'll try figure out how to make the setting permanent, maybe someone here already knows?
FW ver.: RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.3
