Hi, I've just purchased a rut850 vehicle router, I cannot connect to the routers wifi, the admin password isn't long enough ? I have tried from my  I phone too but have the same issue. any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the red/green/orange all flashing together every second

I can not solve it - but had a similar issue with a RUT955. Did a factory reset, but was unable to connect to the SSID using the PW printed on the label. Had to connect via Ethernet using an USB-C to Ethernet adapter.

This model doesn’t have any USB ports though, I have no idea what this 8 digit WiFi password is meant to be, I have taken the SIM card out my old router which never needed a passcode.

Hello.

You can go to the RMS web page create an account and add your device to RMS using the serial and the MAC address of the device.

From RMS you can enter your device and configure it as if you where connected directly to it.

Haw can I manage my RUT 850 with macbook pro without RMS? I dont want to create an account. It should be possible to connect my macbook direktly with the RUT 850 WIFI !!!

Hi, yes you can connect directly to the wifi of the RUT850, please keep in mind that for some limitation on MAC devices, if the password is shorter than 8 characters the MAC won't accept to connect to that wifi. You can always connect from other device other that Apple.
