Is it possible to have the RUT240 give its 4G Wan IP to any PC without specifying a MAC address?
From memory, setting the 4G interface to bridge mode requires the target mac (will not let saving without).

I'm trying to see if it's possible to avoid a reconfiguration of the RUT240's bridging target MAC for cases where the router behind died and has to be urgently swapped.

Ideally, the RUT240 would give the 4G IP to the latest client on its LAN port - is that possible?

Hello,

Have you considered using Passthrough mode? It is similar to Bridge mode, except in Passthrough and Dynamic DHCP mode, the router can assign its mobile WAN IP address to the device that connects to the router's LAN first. In case several devices are connected to the LAN, the router will assign its WAN IP to the random device.
