after trying out OpenWRT (because RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1_WEBUI doesn't support IPv6 and RUT9XX_T_F1374_00.06.02.371_WEBUI.bin didn't even connect to mobile network) I tried to go back to RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1_WEBUI.

So in OpenWRT I uploaded the firmware file RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1_WEBUI.bin. Now, the router cannot be reached any more, only the power LED lights up.

By this procedure https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu I can open the firmware upload page and upload the firmware file, but then still nothing changes.

Also I tried the bootloader upgrade process https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Bootloader_Upgrade with this bootloader file from here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/wikibase/images/c/c8/Uboot_for_tlt_rut9xx_3.0.1.zip (tried only the uboot_for_tlt_rut9xx_3.0.1_webui.bin, because I don't want to loose the firmware upload page too).

Afterwards again firmware upload, but still no change.

Can anybody help me to get back to a functioning device?

I also tried it under different operating systems (Ubuntu, Windows). No chance.

What can be wrong? I mean the upgrade process seems to work - I see the knight rider like LEDs flashing - first from left to right (I suppose, it's the uploading process), then from right to left (I suppose it's the flahing process).

But still, device doesn't boot, or at least is not reachable afterwards, beside going again into bootloader mode.

Is there a way of recovering / flashing via SD card?

Or via RS232 or RS485?

Now, that's really strange. I don't know, how many times I tried uploading the new firmware via uploader webgui. Now, suddenly it worked.

One thing I changed was: I ejected microsd card and SIM cards. If someone from Teltonika can confirm that this could be the cause of my problems, then please add this hint to the upgrade instructions here https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu and on some dozens replications of this.
