Hello,

Regarding to your question you cannot detect the failover state using Modbus TCP because it is not included on the list of parameters which you can get with Modbus. For the list of parameters you can refer to this link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Monitoring_via_Modbus

To check if there is a WAN failover switching that is happening you can check it using "logread -f" command in CLI.

Hope it helps

That's great thanks, I can use logread -f |grep 'Wired WAN connection non operational'

Where can I find a full list of messages that are displayed in the log ?

Hello,

You can see the full messages displayed on the System logs.

You can get it on Web UI > System > Administration >Troubleshoot > System logs

Also in Status > Event logs you will be able to see all the events done in the router

For more information you can refer to this link:

Hope it helps

Thank you and have a nice day!
Stay Safe.
