Hi,

My RUT950 doesn't connect to mobile network after boot. However, if I manualy click on Restart Connection, it connect.

I have tried to reset the settings, I have double check the APN, but it still doesn't work properly.

firmware version : RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1

kernell version : 3.18.44

bootloader : 3.0.1

I can send screenshot and troubleshoot file.

Does anybody can help me ?

Thanks in advance,

I also have the same problem on one of several Teltonika RUT950s. I will focus on two - one that works properly and one where the above problem occurs. There are several symptoms that differ between them, listed below.

Until an answer comes for Clément, two possible workarounds: 1. go into Status > Network and press Restart Connection after each reboot. OR 2. Send an SMS command (by default "(password) mobileon", and await reply Mobile turning on). When that answer comes I would appreciate a public answer as to how (or if) the problem is resolved - as in what else was checked, and what configuration was changed in order to solve the problem.

The two RUT950s have identical firmware, both have a primary Ethernet WAN connection, both have 4G SIM cards from the same carrier, and both have local Wi-Fi clients. EDIT: They have both been recently factory reset. Differences (and other similarities) are listed below.

Note : I think this issue appeared just after I upgrade the firmware from :

version : RUT9XX_R_00.01.497 (kernel : 3.10.36)

To : RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1 (kernel : 3.18.44)

I had this problem after upgrading a RUT950 to RUT9XX_R_00.06.07 - Previously had been happily connecting on reboot to the O2 network in the UK every time.

I found that changing the setting to use Auto APN solved it:

Network > Mobile > SIM1 > Auto APN

Now happily reconnects after each reboot.

Not an actual answer, but two possible workarounds: 1. go into Status > Network and press Restart Connection after each reboot. OR 2. Send an SMS command (by default "(password) mobileon", and await reply Mobile turning on).

I'm awaiting a public reply as to a permanent solution.
