We are making changes to the SDK on the network interface, however when we compile the changes appear to be overwritten.

We want the default WAN interface to be Mobile, it defaults to Wired like this:

We want it to default to Mobile:

We are editing:

/package/network/config/netifd/files/etc/config/network

and

/package/base-files/files/etc/config/multiwan

Try checking whether command specified in this case  helps applying the changes.

We have tried this but its still being overwritten, does the wizard overwrite settings when it is run the first time?

I tested with SDK RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1 using Ubuntu 18.04.4 and changes was applied correctly.

After Wizard Setup, settings was not overwritten.

I would recommend to check whether latest SDK is used or try compiling using different OS distribution.
