Hello,

I have set up dynamic DNS service with dyndnss.net on RUT950 and RUTX12.

It seems to be running, status is running and green, last update and next update are being updated.

But there are two problems. First, the IP address is not with the dyndnss.net service

updated. Second, if I manually update the address and address the domain,

I get a message: "91.11.164.208 has rejected the connection". If namely

I enter the 91.11.164.208 access works. Remote access is natural

Approved. What am I doing wrong?

With other routers (AVM) access to the domain works.

Hi,

It might be that your router itself is blocking dyndnss.net service and it can't reach the router. First thing would be checking these options:

  • Check if all the configuration of dynamic DNS is correct in WebUI and that it says that it's connected.
  • Check if there are any firewall rules that may block the dynamic dns service.
  • Check if you have enabled Remote HTTP access within Administration > Access Control configuration.
  • If anything from above wont help - try restarting your router and changing dynamic dns service provider.
