Recognize paywall as fail-scenario for Wired-WAN

Hello,

i have following configuration on a site:

  1. Wired WAN: comes from a satellite Modem ISP: Tooway Ka-Sat
  2. SIM1: LTE mobile broadband as failover
  3. SIM2: empty

For the WAN via Satellite there are two options to fail:

1. Loss of connection to the satellite or groundbase which results is no IP beeing assinged -> RUT955 goes into failover.

2. Contractual issues that need either a re-entry of the activationcode on the skylogig-network. In this case an IP adress is assigned but every request to the internet is denied and (should be) redirected to the activation site of the skylogig network (which might not always be the case). Here the RUT955 thinks everything is fine and does not activate failover.

Is there a configuration that allows the RUT955 to recognize this activation issue in 2. as a scenario for failover activation?

Is there a tunnel protocol that does not require a public IP from the mobile network so I can fix an activation issue remotely?

For the issue you are having the WAN Failover can be activated on this configuration on the things mentioned on this link:

Regarding this:

It is mentioned that request to the internet is denied meaning no ping request to the internet shall go through right? Because the default setting for this one when the RUT955 fails to ping google dns it will be automatically switching to other WAN source. 

Also as what i understand if that issue on No. 2 occurs you need to input the activation code manually on the activation site? If the situation occurs that you are redirected to the activation site how are you activating it as of now?
