Hello,

is it possible to save all the GPS data on the RUT955 extended Memory?

I just want to track my route during my travel and like so see the speed, the distance per day, etc...

Maybe use it later also for showing this track on a map, for a post-holiday report

Thanks for help!!

Hello,

You can save GPS data for later, using NMEA collecting functionality.  For that you will need inserted USB flash or MicroSD card into router.

Configure collecting:

  • Go to Services > GPS > NMEA
  • In NMEA collecting check Enable
  • Set location of USB Flash/MicroSD card (In this example location is /mnt/mmcblk0p1/nmea.txt nmea.txt can be any filename you want)
  • Enable collecting on data you want to collect (in this example we collect all the data, more about data options: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_GPS#NMEA_collecting )
  • Click Save

Now, NMEA data should be collected and saved into your USB flash or microSD card and you can view it by connecting to router using SSH or inserting USB Flash/MicroSD card into your PC.

Regards.
