My RUT 240 has DHCP enabled in the default IP range.

I have a device connected to the LAN port with a static address of 10.10.1.10

Is there any way I can establish communication with this device with an Alias or something?

Hello,

Could you explain more about what kind of device you want to reach?

  • One universal suggestion that should work is to change your RUT240 LAN IP (for example change 192.168.1.1 to 10.10.1.1), because communication can be established  in the same subnet or via public IP's.
  • Also it is possible to create IP alias. More about IP aliases: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_LAN#IP_Aliases

Regards.
