Hello,

I have a 3G Router RUT500, 3 years until now I didn’t have any problem when suddenly I can’t login remotely when I type the public ip I can’t reach it.

I tried to connect local with Ethernet cable and seems to be ok! I see the iP, 3G signal, firewall is OFF and I have internet through the router.

What do you suggest me to do? I will replace it with a new model RUT230, but I don’t now if it has problem?

thanks

Aris

Hello,

According to your description the router doesn't seem broken. Have you tried simply rebooting the router or resetting it to factory default settings?

You could also try upgrading the rotuer's firmware. RUT500 FW depends on the product code.

For RUT500 with the following codes: RUT500 x1xxxx, RUT500 x5xxxx and RUT500 x8xxxx use this link: https://wiki.teltonika.lt/images/6/6b/RUT5XX_NW_00.02.38_WEBUI.bin

For RUT500 with other codes use this link: https://wiki.teltonika.lt/images/c/cd/RUT5XX_R_01.00.875_WEBUI.bin

Hello,

Thank you for your answer, yes i did restart, reset, firmware upgrade, but the problem remain, moreover I observed that the 3G Signal has fluctuation (five lines to one) and sometimes lost totally.

Thanks

Aris

Just to be sure, you haven't changed any configs recently that might cause something like this? And you definitely have a Public IP address?

If everything is the same as it was before and remote access just stopped working randomly plus the signal fluctuations, then your unit might just be broken.

Hi,

Are you sure that there were no changes from your ISP and that you still got public IP available ?
