I tried to reset my RUT955 but it seems that it doesn't clear all content, especially the event logs. I did a factory reset with the button and WebUI and a boot loader reset by disconnecting the device from power, pressing the reset button, uploading new FW and uboot etc. pp. How can I really reset the device?

Hi,

Event logs can not be deleted when resetting or upgrading router firmware.

Hello,

You can clear these logs via routers terminal:

1. SSH to your router (or use CLI function) with login: root and your password: admin01 by default

2. Go to log folder using command: cd /log/

3. Execute command: rm log.db

4. Execute command: /etc/init.d/eventslog restart

Thank you. That worked.
