Hi

I manage a fleet of around 80 RUT950 and RUT955 modem/routers.

All are running the latest firmware RUT9XX_R_00.06.06.1 and are configured correctly. Public ip address etc.

Occasionally on some routers, the ddns service seems to stop and the dyndns.org site is not updated.

Manually re-starting the service  /etc/init.d/ddns restart fixes the problem.

This is a problem as these are remote sites, fortunately I can obtain the ip address as I have set up an modbus/mqtt service that publishes the ipaddress. However, it means a manual login and restart.

Is this a known problem and what do you recommend to fix it?

Regards

Neil

Hi,

Could you download and send me the troubleshoot file once you lose your connection with dyndns.org?

Send it to me via private message.
