Question

We have two TRB141 in field which send IO by SMS (input 1 and 2 passive)

After update one TRB to firmware R_00.02.04.3 the TRB141 doesn't send SMS anymore.

Message in config I/O juggler (general) :  Configurable Input/Output rules will only work when pin is set to input mode !!!

Send SMS in menu Mobile Utilities --> Messages --> Send Messages works OK

Send SMS by input (pin 1 and 2) doesn't work.

Regarding the issue you are having may i know what configuration is made on the TRB device?
May i know also what are you trying to implement with the use of TRB141?

Thanks for reply.

We only use the TRB141 to send sms bij change input contacts (DI1 en DI2 )  We are using DI1 an DI2 as WET input

The TRB with older FW and older modem firmware works OK. The device with new FW and Modem firmware connects to network (Vodafone) but it send no sms while inputs are changing.  Sending SMS in menu works fine. I seems that input not activate/trigger SMS engine in the TRB 141.

HQ did some further test and manage to made it worked.

Could you try setting up the I/O Juggler General Tab for the pin trigger on Both instead of rising of falling.

We use the trigger command BOTH.

We bought a new TRB141 (batch 05) en put FW 00.02.03.2 on it.

Modem SW EC21EUGAR06A01M4G

Put our settings on it en it functioned well.

Then I put the older FW on de TRB141 (batch 04) with the sms problems.  

After reinstalling en reboot the TRB it functions .... !!

But now we have the problem that group sms not works. Single number works good but group sms doesn't work.

I try tomorrow  with TRB141 (batch 05) the new one.

Hello,

Regarding this issue of yours kindly let me know the results. 

For group messages have you create the phone group?? You can do it on System > Administration > User & Recipients. 

If you are still encountering the issue with TRB141 would it be possible that you test it first and if the test fails download a copy of the troubleshoot file from System > Administration > Troubleshoot and send it to me via private. 

Please download the troubleshoot file after the test you made. Don't do anything after the test just download the troubleshoot file.

Sure we create a phone group.

If we use phone group then the TRB141 sends 1 sms and than it stops.

If we use single number then it works OK.

I send you the Troubleshoot file. (after I change single number in I/O Juggler to Group for the 2 inputs)

Did this issue got solved?

I´m experience similar issue where first trigger in DIO1 can send SMS but not the second.
If I use a script instead of SMS it works all the time.

Edit: When using a group I get this behaviour, when using a single number in the SMS action it works.

Thank you for the firmware Jerome.
It kinda works.

In my recipient phone group I have two telephone numbers and this group is then selected as an SMS action for the I/O juggler.
I´m able to receive the SMS on both numbers but I always get two SMS on each number.

I kept the settings during the firmware upgrade.
