I see the RMS portal has been updated - great

Unfortunately the "DEVICE WEB UI LINK" appears to be broken - I get a

"This site can’t be reached xxxx.api.rms.teltonika .lt’s server IP address could not be found.

Go to http://teltonika.lt/

Search Google for api rms teltonika lt

ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"

Error when trying to access these. Any ETA on when this will be resolved please?

Hi,

According to this RMS related disruptions are to be expected until January 8, 11 p.m. because of the update implementation.

Giving notice on a Friday (Jan 4th) that you are planning a service disruption on a production system starting on Friday (Jan 4th) is bad practice. Can Teltonika please email the account holders in advance (two weeks is nice, one week is ok) of planned maintenance next time? That way we can schedule our own work when the system is available.

You are absolutely right. However, major updates such as this one are not common. So it is entirely possible that this specific notice was mishandled (especially during the busy pre holiday season).

In any case, You are in the right here and we'll see to it that in the future our customers will be notified earlier.

It's ok. We both thought the same thing for our maintenance and I got caught out. :-)
